Who could turn down a party invitation from Martha Stewart? Last night, I headed to the top of the MSLO offices (an indoor rooftop space with panoramic views of the city) for colorful beverages (one made with a blender powered by a bike!), fun hors d'oeuvres, and dainty desserts (including smores!) Enjoy these photos from the event!

Wowzie Wowzie Whoo Whoo... Those are some very impressive photos. So, what do you owe the honor to???
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!!! Wish I could have been there! Thanks for taking us along for the ride...
ReplyDeleteWOW, great photos. Looks like it was a blast. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mardi! Wish you were here for it!
ReplyDeleteHi Dave! The party was part of a #marthablogger event (coincided with Blogher'10) so there were tons of people there!
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat did you think of the event overall? I heard some negative feedback that it wasn't really about engaging bloggers, instead just showing off Martha brand.
I wish I could have gone to this event! It looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThe photos are amazing. Tell us about the event!! I am dying to know more!
ReplyDeleteI apologize for not keeping up with my readings. We left for Paris mid July and are currently in Belgrade. We'll be home sometime next week - and I cannot wait to be home. I love to get away, but going home is just as exciting. And this time, In have had so many fascinating culinary experiences, that I cannot wait to practice in my kitchen at home!
:)

I happen to have gone to this event and although you edited these pictures beautifully, I found the party overall lacked the "Martha Wow" factor that I was expecting.
ReplyDeleteI was lucky to get there early and made some new contacts, but yes, the party ended up getting incredibly crowded and later became difficult to meet people. I'm still glad I went though.
ReplyDeleteMissed you as always, but we'll get together soon. We still need to dine at Locanda Verde!
ReplyDeleteMiss you Valerie!! The event itself was a crowded party with free drinks, appetizers, and swag bags. All of the Martha-family products were around to check out. I can't wait to see/hear all about your foodie travels - it sounds like you're having a great time!
ReplyDeleteI was glad I was able to meet some new people at the party, but I agree that it wasn't as elaborate as say, Martha inviting us over to her place for dinner. Now, that would have been a Wow experience!
ReplyDeleteI love the blue dress/lacy apron/flower combo. I wish I looked so stylish in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI loved it too. Did you notice that she was cycling to make drinks in the blender? Fun, huh?
